Allana College of Pharmacy ‘s APTICON 2016 harps on Empowerment of Women in Health Care Profession

MCE Society’s Allana College of Pharmacy , Camp, Pune  had organized One day  National seminar APTICON 2016 (Women Forum)  in collaboration with Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India on the theme, “ Strategies for Empowerment of Women  Associated with the Healthcare Profession”  at Dr A. R. Shaikh Assembly hall, Azam campus, on Tuesday, 8thMarch 2016 for Women Professionals from Pharmacy, Medical, Paramedical streams.

Nearly 200 participants from different pharmacy colleges attended the seminar. The programme was  attended by the women teachers, entrepreneurs and researchers. Ms Susan Josi ,Managing Partner Sorento Healthcare , Mumbai , one of  India’s leading Health &Wellness Consulting and Communication company  graced the inaugural function as the Chief Guest, Mrs Abeda P Inamdar  Vice President MCE Society presided over the function. Dr Kiran Bhise , Organising Secretary welcomed the guests. 

The office bearers of APTI  Central  Dr Mahesh Burande, Dr RS Bhamber, Dr Vandana Patravale, Dr Pravin Chaudhary, Dr Sohan Chitlange, and APTI MS Dr  CD Upasani, Dr Anil Pethe , and the Office bearers of MCE Society Shri Latif Maqdum, Prof Irfan Shaikh and HGMAE trust Shri MA Peerbhoy were also present.  

Interesting sessions were conducted by the speakers  Dr Sanju Nanda , Dr Vandana Patravale , Dr Ranjana Obhan and Dr Gazala Mulla on the topics related to women safety, research funding, stress management and Hijamah therapy. A health check up camp was arranged by Wellness for ever chain. The selected delegates from IPR patenting, Pharma entrepreneurship shared their success stories.
